I’ll write this really honestly. Dr. Jinwoo is kind and really creates a refined yet natural-looking side profile well. I also saw the photos, got tempted, went there, and because the doctor’s personality was so good, I trusted him almost as if I were entranced and had surgery.
In other words, it looks very obvious. Especially in the review photos, the front view all has a somewhat triangular shape, and in my case it was especially severe, so I even heard gossip that from the front, only my nostrils are visible. Of course, some people, especially younger people, did say my nose was really pretty, but older people or people who are quick to notice all recognized that I had my nose done. If you have a small nose, remember that once you get your nose done, it is bound to look obvious. Even if people don’t say much to your face, they all talk behind your back lol
I also have scarring, so when I went to another hospital, they said scarring usually does not remain to this extent. The photos, meaning my side profile, came out pretty, so I lived with it somehow, but because of the front view, I started avoiding photos too, and the stress got worse, so I’m looking into complete removal. ———————— * Addition I really wanted this to be the last surgery of my life, so I read a lot of the doctor’s blog and thought hard before choosing... but now that I’m facing complete removal, I feel upset. Looking at the review photos here again, they are pretty, but they are just openly cosmetic-surgery noses, so I don’t know why back then I thought they looked naturally pretty... I think my aesthetic sense changed from looking at this community. After coming to my senses and looking from an ordinary person’s perspective, I think the refined-yet-natural look is an illusion.
Every time my condition was bad, the tip of my nose would strangely turn red, so I went back after a long time, and the doctor also seemed very at a loss... It was awkward for both of us, and I couldn’t exactly blame the doctor, so I wrapped it up with a smile and left, but it seems they can’t really provide a clear solution when a problem occurs. It made me very sad that the hospital where I had wanted to lie down for the last time responded that way.
And since the doctor said my nose looks natural now, I keenly felt that the doctor’s aesthetic sense and mine don’t match. Even someone like me, who isn’t sensitive, has been bothered this much and heard various comments asking what’s wrong with my nose because it looks so obvious... It is true that the doctor has a good character, but I really regret choosing this hospital. By ordinary people’s standards, this hospital makes glamorous noses. I should have gone to an ultra-natural nose hospital, or just not gotten my nose done in the first place. I’ve even started avoiding meeting people, so I’m going to have it removed and live comfortably.
