I had nose surgery in early May last year. Nose surgery turned out not to be as simple as I thought. Everyone’s photos at one week post-op had no bruising or swelling, so I thought it wasn’t a big deal, but I had blood bruising that came down to my eyes and cheeks, swelling, and bruises for a month, and the swelling lasted quite a while too. The swelling didn’t go down well, so I also got injections for lumpy scar tissue. Because the area between my eyebrows became higher, my eyes looked closer together and my impression became stronger, so I kept debating whether to remove it or not, but after a year and a half, it feels a bit more natural now. Actually, even now I think about removing everything except the nasal tip, because the nose changes your impression a lot, so I think it’s best to choose a hospital that pursues a style that suits you.
