I think I only waited less than 20 minutes, and the manager was very kind and easy to talk to (a slight yes-vibe). The director was very passionate and full of confidence, which made me trust them, and I appreciated them saying what wouldn’t work wouldn’t work. They also explained very well why it wouldn’t work. That said, even if they charged a consultation fee, I think it would be better if the consultation was conducted with more evidence-based materials. The main materials are septal cartilage, ear cartilage, and silicone, but it felt like they would open the nose, check the amount of septal cartilage, and then adjust the amount and height of the ear cartilage... so I had a slight hmm? feeling.
It feels like the director has a philosophy that this face suits this nose best, and when designing the surgery, I think I’d need to speak up more proactively. Just based on the director’s name value alone, they’re worth putting on the final candidate list, so I’m still thinking about it!
