The doctor was extremely kind and explained things professionally, but The problem was that they didn’t do a CT scan. It was my first consultation for revision nose surgery, and they said they would reuse the existing cartilage as is and add ear cartilage. But after later consulting hospitals that had CT scans, all of them said my existing cartilage was not in a condition that could be used and that it would be better to use costal cartilage. I think if I had had surgery at Yejin, they might not have known it couldn’t be used until after opening me up, and it could have become an awkward situation.
