Today is day 6 after my rhinoplasty. The cotton packing was removed right away the day after surgery, and today on day 6, I went to have the splint and stitches removed. But after taking off the splint, I looked so much like Avatar,,ಥ_ಥ So the doctor felt it, said it was pooled blood, drained it with a syringe and pressed it out. They told me to keep the splint on for a few more days and did compression taping and put the splint back on,, They didn’t prescribe any separate medication and just sent me home. I have to return to work soon, so I’m really worried. It does seem like the swelling is gradually going down, but in the early stage, are the lines usually all like this? I wanted a straight-to-soft-slope line, and I had cartilage repositioning, 5 mm silicone, septal cartilage, and bulbous nose surgery.
