The doctor seemed very confident. I wanted to remove my entire nose, and he was certain that if everything was removed, it would definitely return to my original nose. After hearing during consultations that it might not be possible to go completely back to my original nose, hearing that it would return did feel like a relief, but while the technical skill seems good, there wasn’t much empathy or effort to answer questions for patients. People facing removal are people who have been hurt inside. Because this is the final step, they’re even more careful and even more scared. It seemed like he didn’t want to have conversations about what was inconvenient in life after the first surgery, what could be improved, and what side effects they were afraid of. Whenever I tried to say something or ask a question, he kept cutting me off and only repeated that it would go back to my original nose. I left after hearing only that answer over and over. And when I was consulting with the manager, wow... the manager here is truly an angel. She answered everything I wanted to ask the director and explained whether improvements were possible. I almost cried during the consultation. This place seems like a good fit for people who want a very firm doctor.
