I had a slight complex about my nose in everyday life, so I decided to get rhinoplasty. Because I live outside Seoul, I looked into hospitals a great deal and made my decision very carefully, and in the end I chose Director Lee Kyung-mook at Objet Plastic Surgery. During the actual consultation with the director, he immediately identified the problems with my nose and presented solutions suited to them, which made me trust him. For the nasal bridge, we decided on no implant; for the nasal tip, the surgical materials would be ear cartilage and septal cartilage, with additional functional rib cartilage to be used if more cartilage was needed. Before surgery began, I briefly checked once more with the director the areas I most wanted to improve, and then had the surgery.
Thanks to the director controlling the bleeding well, no cotton packing was placed in my nose, so I think there was less discomfort during recovery after surgery. At the 2-week mark, when the tape was removed, I was flustered because there was a lot of swelling, but now at two months, it feels like almost all the swelling has gone down. They say residual swelling can continue to go down for 6 months to even 1 year, so I am going to keep watching it.
I am satisfied because my nose blends very naturally with my face.
