I’m planning to have revision surgery, and last time I only had surgery with septal cartilage, but my nose looks bulbous so I don’t like it.. I had one plastic surgery consultation, and they said I need to use rib cartilage? Should I go with autologous rib cartilage or donated rib cartilage? If I do it this time, I don’t want to have another rhinoplasty for more than 10 years
으딩이 I'm planning to use autologous costal cartilage
미니냥 I felt a bit uneasy about using someone else's, and I was worried my body might have a rejection reaction, so I just went with autologous costal cartilage
하똘도이 For revision rhinoplasty, it seems a lot of people use autologous costal cartilage, but still, listen to what the director recommends during your consultation!!
희희희힄 If you want a firmer material even if scar aftercare is a bit more complicated, go with autologous costal cartilage
콰트로투 Both are definitely strong materials, so if scars feel burdensome, use donated costal cartilage. I also used donated costal cartilage at Marble and I don't regret it

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoFeb 28 Day 9 after removal + only nasal tip surgery

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoFeb 28 Going to get my nasal tip lowered
Hi everyone, I’m going in for my 4th surgery today. Please, please wish me luck that it goes well. For now, I have nothing in my nasal bridge, and only donated costal cartilage remains in my nasal tip. But it’s too high, and more than…
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoFeb 28 Removal
It’s been over 8 months since the surgery, but there’s inflammation, and they said I need to have it removed, wait, and then have revision surgery, so I do feel pretty overwhelmed. I’m also so angry about the way the previous hospital did…
