I had double eyelid surgery and orthodontic treatment, but it has been a really long time since I did them. In conclusion, there is some asymmetry, but I’m satisfied with the double eyelid surgery. My eyes are on the close-set side, but I only had the Mongolian fold opened with epicanthoplasty, so there is a slight scar, but with makeup it’s almost unnoticeable. I had multiple creases and they weren’t fixed in place, but since they pinched it and made it into one line.. With the non-incisional buried-suture method, it really became natural quickly. As for eye size, after 10 years it’s about the same.. If someone who already had a slight double eyelid wants to make their eyes bigger, I think they need to additionally remove fat and fixate it? something like that. Mine is very natural though
