Nose Surgery Reviews

A naturally refined nose is possible even without silicone or implants. I’ll show you

Before before <before surgery> after after after after after <after surgery> My nasal bridge was already fairly high, but I was concerned about the way the dorsal hump protruded. I wanted rhinoplasty, but the idea of putting in silicone felt psychologically burdensome.. (things like inflammation issues or asymmetry issues) So I kept wondering where I could get a good no-implant procedure.. While searching online, I ended up having a consultation at the hospital where I eventually had the surgery.

They explained that they would shave down the dorsal hump, and since I had enough septal cartilage for the nasal tip, they would use that. However, they also said that if, after opening it in the operating room, the cartilage seemed a bit weak in firmness, they might also use some donated costal cartilage. I liked that both the director and the consultant seemed to try to accommodate my opinions, and they also came across as professional, so I decided to have the surgery.

It has been a little over a month since the surgery, and I am genuinely satisfied with the line right now.. The dorsal hump that had bothered me my whole life has become smooth, and even the height of my nasal tip has been raised naturally, so I have no regrets about getting rhinoplasty. The reason I thought it was good that I didn’t put in silicone was that my nasal bridge was already somewhat high to begin with.. If I had put in 3-4 mm or so.. wouldn’t it have looked like Avatar? lol That’s what I thought lol But even if I had placed a very thin 1-2 mm layer, I probably would have regretted it, thinking, “If it was only this much, I shouldn’t have put it in at all!!”... I think it was really fortunate that the director kept giving me professional opinions so I could make the best choice, and waited beside me until the end so I could think it through carefully.

I’ll emphasize it again: I did not put in silicone lol There were times when it felt stuffy and hard, with cotton packed in my nose for 3 days, and then 4 more days until the splint was removed.. But after seeing how well the surgery turned out, all of that feels completely romanticized now lololol

This is a surgical review pursuing a naturally refined result.
