After-before-after-before I originally had double eyelids. When I was young, I wanted to make my double eyelids bigger, so I used double-eyelid tape and rubbed my eyes often, and they stretched. So about 10 years ago, I had my first double-eyelid surgery with the buried suture method. After giving birth and reaching my late 30s, the fat in my upper eyelids decreased, an eye hollow formed, and my double eyelids became layered. My eyes didn’t open well, and I ended up opening them with forehead strength and my glabella, so I even got headaches. I was stressed because I looked sleepy, so I looked into revision surgery.
I didn’t have much time, so I didn’t go around to many places and did it at one place. It didn’t have a factory-like atmosphere, and there was one doctor. The consultation manager also never pushed anything excessive. And as soon as the doctor saw my eyes, they pinpointed exactly that I looked drowsy and sleepy, and said that if we made them large, flashy, and outline-style, they could come undone again, so we should keep them natural.
The doctor is extremely meticulous. Before surgery, they spent a long time looking at the design, and during the surgery they checked a lot too. Because they were looking so meticulously, my anesthesia wore off in the middle, so it hurt a bit when doing the fat repositioning. Still, it’s the process of getting prettier, so I had to endure it But since my eyes really don’t have much fat, it doesn’t show much. This is something the doctor also mentioned. They said I might need to add a graft or fill in volume separately. The swelling and bruising lasted about 2 weeks, and when I went to have the stitches removed, the doctor also said it seemed to have gone well, and they managed the swelling with something like an infrared heat device. If I had had more time, I wish I had done epicanthoplasty and fat grafting together too. People also say it looks like my original eyes and that it turned out very natural. I’m satisfied.
