After going around for consultations, narrowing it down again and again, I’m posting a review of the final 2 places I organized! I have a slightly bulbous nose & saddle nose, wide nostrils, and a low nose. I narrowed it down like this because they seemed like clinics that are good at making a natural-to-polished straight-to-curved line, and also good at revision surgery.
Clinic name: TㅇS Director: Director ㅇSㅊ Recommended method: 3.5-4 mm silicone for the nasal bridge, autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip, columella lowering, bulbous nose correction, no nostril reduction Consultation details: Both the consultant and the director gave very thorough consultations, and they recommended autologous costal cartilage because my septal cartilage seemed like it might be a little insufficient. Director ㅇSㅊ said they would make the nasal tip rounded while clearly giving a defined effect from the front, and they caught the problems and points for improvement I had in mind even without me saying them.
Clinic name: ㅇBㅅ Director: Director ㅅSㅈ Recommended method: silicone within 4 mm for the nasal bridge, septal cartilage + ear cartilage for the nasal tip (they said they would fill the saddle nose area), columella lowering, bulbous nose correction, nostril reduction optional (not doing it would not matter much) Consultation details: The consultation with the consultant and director combined was almost about 1 hour and 30 minutes, and they were extremely thorough. They were the only ones who noticed and mentioned my subtle saddle nose. They said autologous costal cartilage could be used, but after looking at the CT, if I did not want a dramatic nose, it seemed possible with just septal cartilage and ear cartilage. At the clinic, they kept showing and comparing noses similar to mine without Photoshop, and the after results looked closer to the line I am aiming for than TㅇS.
- For my final decision, I decided to do it with donated costal cartilage with Director ㅅSㅈ at ㅇBㅅ. If anyone has had it done, or knows whether donated costal cartilage at ㅇBㅅ is okay, I would appreciate it if you left a comment..!
