1. Using costal cartilage 2. Closed approach with silicone + ear cartilage. They let me choose between these two surgical methods. I had absolutely no intention of using costal cartilage, so I said I wanted option 2, but they said if it’s done with a closed approach, they can’t lower the columella. This method felt too unfamiliar, so I passed. I never imagined they would do it with a closed approach. Also, the consultation wasn’t particularly detailed.
