This is a 3-month review of canthoplasty reversal, canthoplasty reconstruction, and revision canthoplasty on one eye with Director Kim Geun-sik at Mate Plastic Surgery. Because the scar from the inner corner surgery was wide and there wasn't much spare skin, I was told it was a high-difficulty surgery and decided to have reconstruction on only one eye.
The surgery was done under sedation followed by local anesthesia, and then continued while I was awake, so it wasn't very painful. I could feel that the doctor was working very hard during the procedure.
The cost was 1.93 million won, discounted for writing a review of the surgery! The original price was 2.42 million won, and for both eyes it would be 2.75 million won, so doing only one side doesn't make a huge difference in price.
I am extremely satisfied with the results. The scar improved a lot and the area in front of the eyes was not blocked much either. If you're considering this surgery, I would recommend it!
