Double eyelid surgery + lateral canthoplasty review

I originally had inner double eyelids, but I wanted refreshing-looking eyes with a more visible crease, and the outer corners of my eyes were usually very upturned, which was a complex for me. So for a long time I wanted to get surgery to lower the outer corners of my eyes, but every time I searched and looked into it, there were so many stories about side effects that I worried a lot But it was a surgery I wanted enough to accept the risk of side effects, so I did it, and thankfully it’s been about 8 months? since the surgery now. Well, so far nothing has reattached (though I guess I’ll only know after more time passes), and I don’t have things like eye stinging or an awkward eye-smile either.

I had quite a lot of pain after surgery. The conjunctival edema lasted for a month Even when I read reviews, many people said it went down in 2 weeks, but mine lasted a month, so I was seriously stressed and kept asking the clinic, so I must have been pretty annoying.... When I had conjunctival edema, it was so hard because I couldn’t open my eyes properly. If I opened my eyes properly, tears came out and it felt like a thorn was stuck in my eye It really hurt so much that I could only keep my eyes closed and apply ice packs to barely get through it.. The recovery period was really hard for me, but I think the level of pain varies by person. My friend also had lateral canthoplasty, but she had no pain at all and no swelling either

Anyway, that was my review up to here. Thank you for reading
