I was really satisfied when I first had the canthoplasty, but as time passed, it did reattach quite a lot. I also have scars left after the surgery, and I can still see red tissue Still, it doesn't show much when I wear makeup, so I'm just living with it. If you're sensitive about these things, I don't recommend lateral canthoplasty! I did it because I had small, clam-shaped eyes and wanted eye-shape correction, but my friends say there's barely any difference.. Also, the pulling sensation in the muscles near the surgically treated outer corners of my eyes lasted quite a long time Dry eye syndrome came as a bonus! These are the side effects I experienced after lateral canthoplasty.
