Eye Surgery Reviews

I guess all incisional surgeries leave scars (scars I found after lifting my eyelid. I…

After<the mucous membrane area>After<the end of the upper eyelid line is slightly wrinkly?>After<when I pull open the outer corner of the eye, there’s something like a tear mark>A plastic surgeon on YouTube said that all incisions leave scars, that scars may gradually fade but they definitely remain, and that really turned out to be true.. I had lateral canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty together, and as the swelling went down and my eyes stabilized, there were no scars visible at a glance, so it looked very natural (to the point that people said, “You had something done????”). Put the other way, it’s like I gained almost nothing..? lol

But last night, while examining my eyes and lifting/pulling things around, I found a scar I hadn’t noticed. Is this level of scarring something everyone who has lateral and lower canthoplasty has? Honestly, no one who sees my eyes says I have scars, and it’s a part even I didn’t know about, but if you lift and pull things around, you can tell. So when I wrote my surgery review too, I wrote that it turned out natural and well.. It’s not a scar that’s visible enough for me to get reconstruction, and I don’t have the money anyway. A scar only I know about. I just realized that every surgery, especially incisional surgery, definitely carries risks.

But depending on the angle, the mucous membrane at the outer corner of my eye looks lifted. Is this a side effect..?(third photo) Normally the mucous membrane is right against the white of the eye, but at the end of this eye it’s slightly separated..
