Before-and-after-after... the clickbait title is embarrassing... For my first surgery, I had septal work with donated costal cartilage and silicone, and there weren't really any problems. It just wasn't pretty, so I had a revision.
For the revision, I wanted to use autologous costal cartilage, so I went around to clinics, and as soon as I got there they asked if I had a budget in mind. Since they asked, I told them, and they said if it was my first revision, donated costal cartilage would be okay, and autologous costal cartilage might be difficult. They just said it like that. But if there were a reason, I could accept it, but since they didn't tell me the reason, I just didn't want to do it there. I didn't want to do it at a place like that, so I just went to another clinic.
And the place I went to was Finish Plastic Surgery, and there too, likewise, as soon as I got there they asked about the cost first haha Still, they took an X-ray there and said I could use autologous costal cartilage. And although I didn't ask separately, they looked at the examination and explained why the nose shape from my first surgery wasn't good or whether it had dropped. I thought it was right to do it at a place that at least tells me the reason, so I ended up doing it there.
The look I wanted was a slightly curved line between the glabella and nasal bridge, you know? I had the glabella slightly lowered and made it gradually rise naturally, and doing that seems to have improved the flaring of my nostril wings a lot?? After bulbous nose correction and alar reduction too, my nose became much slimmer. I think the line came out better than the nose I Photoshopped and showed during the consultation.
Whether it's the nose or anything else, surgery should really be done by someone who knows well.
