I’ve been getting it for 11 years.. Even though square jaw Botox is a very common procedure, the results aren’t the same with every doctor who performs it. At some clinics, the area even under the cheekbones disappears, making you look like The Scream by Munch, at some clinics, there’s no effect even after waiting 3 weeks, so you have to go back for another injection, at some clinics, the effect completely disappears after just 2 months, and at some clinics, only part of the muscle remains bulky, with a chestnut-like lump sticking out on each side of the jaw... It is a cheap and simple procedure, and if there is no effect, they may inject again for free(?), but both the doctor and I feel uncomfortable about it. The doctor makes a big deal out of giving another injection for free, but for me, after waiting for the effect and not seeing any, I have to go back and consult again, which is a hassle and stressful, and when getting the injection, it hurts again!!..ㅡ,.ㅡ From my personal experience, clinics run by a single director at private practices seemed to have better post-procedure effects than chain plastic surgery clinics. Doctors who seemed to have some experience were better than very young doctors.
