3-Year Orthodontic Review

I got orthodontic treatment in 2017 and it finished in 2018. I had a slight protruding mouth and crowded teeth But for me it was the gums that were protruding, so I was afraid that if it was overcorrected I’d end up with a birdlike mouth, so they did it at a moderate level. My mouth didn’t get dramatically pulled in, but because of the crowded teeth I used to cover my mouth when I laughed all the time, and now I can smile brightly, so I’m so happy I paid a lot of money, 6 million won, back then, but I don’t regret it If anything, I regret not doing it sooner? But it’s definitely hard that my gums became more delicate and that even after the treatment ends you have to wear the retainer for a long time. If you don’t wear the retainer properly, your teeth will go back to their original position, so if you’re getting orthodontic treatment, or if you’ve finished, wear it diligently for a few years There are a lot of friends around me who didn’t wear it and had to get treatment again
