About 2 Years After Double Eyelid Surgery

I newly joined this community today and brought a surgery review from about 2 years ago to level up... My mom and younger sibling had already had surgery here, and above all I liked that their results looked natural, so I said in advance that I was also focusing on a natural look. Also, I had an important event 2 weeks after surgery, so I asked whether the swelling and bruising would mostly go down before then. The doctor said that if the line was made that thin, the swelling would definitely go down within 2 weeks, so I trusted him and had the surgery. In reality, the swelling went down in less than a week and the bruising disappeared within 5 days. I think after the stitches were removed, I only wore very light makeup, just enough to cover the bruising. However, while the swelling was going down and the line was settling, the swelling in my eyes went down unevenly, so one eye line looked really strange. I was worried and repeatedly sent photos to the consultant, asking if it was okay. The consultant said we still had to keep watching it, but after I kept texting, they briefly scheduled another consultation with the director. It was around a holiday then, and anyway he did look at it, though it was very brief, and said there was no problem. So I watched it with a “well, what can I do” mindset, and in the end it turned out naturally with no problems. Even at one month, it already looked so natural that I was a bit surprised, and now, a little over a year and a half after the surgery, it looks even more natural. Other than the original inner double eyelid crease showing a little, it barely looks obvious, so I sometimes regret not making it just a little thicker... But the overlapping crease is a bit annoying. It doesn’t show when I wear makeup, but it shows clearly on my bare face. My original inner double eyelids weren’t that thin, so... I do recommend it if you want a natural look, but for something natural, it does feel expensive. The consultant also had her eyes done there, and she had an overlapping crease too. I guess there’s no helping it if you originally have inner double eyelids..
