I had posterior canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty, and after getting the stitches removed yesterday, I was so shocked to see the bumpy scarring. When I called the clinic today to ask, they said something like, "It's normal to have scars after stitches are removed, and they gradually disappear"? (The doctor didn't see me on the day the stitches were removed.) That's how they explained it. But no matter how much I think about it, it keeps bothering me, so I'm asking, is it normally like this after stitches are removed... Should I get scar revision surgery starting now.. I'm seeing the doctor for a follow-up in 20 days, but I'm scared.. I'm worried I might miss the golden time for scar treatment. (When I had nose surgery somewhere else, I didn't scar, so I don't have keloid-prone skin.
