Day 1 was hard because of the cotton packing, and on day 4 they put cotton back in, so when they removed it I felt like I barely survived. It hurts so, so much. Tears just kept flowing. Still, today my nose opened up completely, so I slept deeply for the first time.
They raised my nasal tip with septal cartilage, and because my rhinitis is severe, I decided to have it done at an ENT clinic. As you can see from the photos, I was told that because my columella is too short, there is a limit to how much the nose can be raised, and my lip could be pulled upward.
My nose was usually so low it was almost like I didn't have one, so now just having a nose feels incredibly moving in itself.
Because my rhinitis is severe, I normally can't breathe well and have a lot of nasal discharge, so I'm always sniffling Maybe because of that, the nasal congestion after surgery feels about the same as my rhinitis.
I'll only know after some time passes, but for now I'm very satisfied. I want to get the splint off soon and upload photos.
If someone asks about nose surgery, I recommend it. Of course, research carefully and go to someone you really trust.
I'm saying goodbye now to the days when I could have lived prettily but always covered my nose and couldn't even smile freely~~~~
