Hehehe I disliked the round image my blunt nose gave, and I was stressed about my low nasal bridge and wide-spreading nostrils, so I started looking into rhinoplasty.
Since it’s a nose I’ll have for life, I thought looking pretty was important, but safety was the most important, so I really, really went to a lot of consultations. I had even made a reservation at another plastic surgery clinic before deciding on Obliv Plastic Surgery! The last place I visited was Obliv Plastic Surgery, and there were 2 reasons why I canceled even my reservation at the other plastic surgery clinic and chose Obliv. Counseling manager Go Han-gyeol, who was honest yet comfortable like a friend, warm, and even consulted with me by chat on days off, and Dr. Kim Da-alm’s professional but easy-to-understand explanation + the detailed approach of showing up to 5 design options suited to my own face rather than a nose made blindly from a template + the confidence shown in their words and eyes!
Aside from this, when I said I was stressed because my glabella was wide and my nose was blunt, they even gave what felt like psychological treatment, saying that men are all originally handsome and just need confidence. It felt like the plastic surgery clinic even reshaped my heart!
If I had to compare, at other plastic surgery clinics I visited, I got a strong feeling of typical lines + commercial lines + giving blind faith that everything would definitely go well, but at Obliv, they clearly explained what was possible and impossible, and what I liked most was that they explained things easily but professionally so even someone who knew nothing could understand!
In the end, after much deliberation together with Dr. Kim Da-alm, I had surgery with 4.0 cm silicone + bulbous nose correction + nasal tip (ear cartilage) + nasal septum. Early on, my nose was really blocked and it was hard, but today, exactly one month later, I’m really, really satisfied! My girlfriend is also really, really satisfied! She told me that from an Avatar face, it now feels neatly refined like a human face lolololol
I really, really worried until the day of surgery, but I think I did really well to have the surgery. I do not regret even 1 bit! It’s pretty even now, and I’m looking forward to how much prettier it will become after the remaining 5 months, once the residual swelling goes down :)
