My first eye plastic surgery! I visited 3 clinics in Seomyeon, and this was the first place I went to. I’m the kind of person who used double eyelid glue every time, and I chose surgery because I didn’t want my eyelids to droop anymore! But this clinic said my eyes could get double eyelids that wouldn’t come undone with just natural adhesion, without even needing an incision, so I was tempted! I had been using double eyelid glue for 3 years (since I only used it when doing makeup, in practice it was less than 3 years).. When I looked it up online, they usually recommended incision surgery for eyes that had used a lot of double eyelid glue! Here, the director said confidently that it was possible with natural adhesion, so I came to trust them! (Even if something went wrong, they offer 3 years of free A/S, so good hehe) After that, every other clinic I went to recommended incision surgery!! So after thinking it over, I decided to do it at this clinic. As a total scaredy-cat, it was my first time on an operating table, so I was really nervous, but it felt closer to a procedure than surgery. I lay down on a small bed in a small operating room, and it was done simply. I think it was sedation + local anesthesia? During the surgery, they had me open my eyes from time to time to check the line. One thing that was a little disappointing was that toward the latter part of the surgery, they were chatting casually.. so I was filled with worry like, “My eyes.. are turning out okay, right..?” Now at 1 month post-op, a lot of the swelling has gone down, so it looks natural, and I’m satisfied with my eyes! People around me also say the epicanthoplasty looks natural! Life without double eyelid glue is so amazinggg (The left and right photos are photos from that time with my eyes open and closed, and my left eye has weaker opening strength than my right eye, so it is a little more swollen.)
