It’s been so long that I’m embarrassed to even call this a surgery review lol
I got it done in my early 20s, and 10 years have already passed. It’s still one of the surgeries I think I did well to get.
There was a little sagging at the time, but I kept up with maintenance lol I did a lot of laser treatments and self-care too. Fortunately, the sagging never got bad enough to need additional surgery, and I did develop inflammation midway and had an additional removal surgery, but I don’t think that was a problem with the surgery itself. I think it was individual variation? Or aftercare? I was supposed to rinse inside my mouth with something like iodine, but I couldn’t do it because it made me gag every time... I did get inflammation, but it was treated well, and even now, more than 10 years later, I’m satisfied with no side effects.
