We are sorry that you experienced discomfort at our hospital... If the wait was that long, I would have been angry too. However, we would like to correct a few misunderstandings.
First. The Go Hara photos
Ms. Go Hara was not officially contracted as our model, but when there was a request for hospital promotional materials, she said it would be acceptable to use them individually for hospital visitors, not for external advertising, and that it would also be possible externally as long as it was not under an exclusive contract with her agency. When she spoke through the media about the details of her ptosis correction surgery, I remember her responding to us in the same open and down-to-earth way.
However, apart from those internal circumstances, we agree that from the hospital side it may have looked careless, and we will refrain from such conduct in the future.
Second. Cat-eye double eyelid surgery
We recommend cat-eye double eyelid surgery to patients seeking canthoplasty revision for a special reason, not for commercial reasons.
Cat-eye double eyelid surgery is an operation that corrects the outer wing, not the surgery that creates the front part you want. However, if we hold the outer corner of the eye and pull it into a parallel shape, you can see that the front scar and U-shape become softer. This is because through reconstruction of the muscle structure around the eye wing, even if only 5% of the force that had been applied to the left side, that is, inward, is dispersed to the right, the overall form changes, and the resulting positive changes at the front are closer to physics than plastic surgery. It is especially recommended for patients who cannot immediately undergo canthoplasty revision or for whom front-side surgery is difficult.
Canthoplasty revision, like double eyelid surgery, is not a procedure that can be done without limit. Some patients have limitations in tissue elasticity, and even when it is possible, there are times when, if skin excision is unavoidable, the doctor must brace themselves.
Not having had cat-eye double eyelid surgery does not mean we refuse canthoplasty revision. It seems that about 3% of all patients have no choice but to be refused canthoplasty revision. If you came back after the expected months and were refused, even from my perspective I feel sorry that I did not fully empathize with how upsetting that must have been, and I apologize that it may instead have seemed commercial.
Third. Insincere consultation
Our doctor consultations are so long that we even prepare a timer. As for the part where the doctor supposedly spoke briefly and simply and then left, as you said, I would appreciate it if you could think back on that more carefully.
Fifth. Staff mistake, waiting time
We apologize for the long wait. This is something that happens from time to time, but going forward, we will improve this through systems such as an executive call system.
Fourth. Inside the hospital
The purpose of our interior design was to create a space where, even long after the surgery is over, patients can bring friends anytime and comfortably have coffee or a massage and watch Netflix, while we care for them like family. (If you look inside, there is also a VR experience zone.) Some people had eye surgery here, then got their nose done at another hospital and receive free recovery care here, and our hospital interior is focused on postoperative care, so you may feel that it does not look like a hospital, but if you look closely, each room is decorated with dolls and chocolates and other expressions of affection for patients.
Because we are human, we also make mistakes from time to time. If other community members have similar issues, please speak honestly about them, and it will help us improve and create a warmer hospital.
