Before before<this is the photo I took before surgery>After after after<3-week swelling photo>I originally had a face with pretty severe asymmetry When I was young, I once hit the right side of my face quite hard, so I lived thinking maybe it was because of that? But that wasn’t it... I didn’t like my protruding cheekbones, or how angular it looked where the front chin connects to the square jaw... I think my complex just got worse as I got older..
Cost was one thing, but going up to 3 procedures felt a bit burdensome, so I only did the 2 I most wanted to fix right away: cheekbones/square jaw When I was looking into hospitals, what really made it hard was that three different hospitals told me to do all 3 procedures I was also recommended things like cortical bone resection and deep cheek fat removal, but I couldn’t help feeling like it was a bit of overtreatment, so among them, I chose the hospital that told me doing just those 2 would probably be enough Luckily, the cost also fit well within the budget I had in mind... If the cost had been too high, even if they recommended just 2 procedures, I probably couldn’t have done it right away and would have let it sit for another year before surgery
Anyway, after surgery I was hospitalized for one day, and once the anesthesia had fully worn off they told me to drink lukewarm water, and seriously, wow... I remember gulping down so much water right there Normally I don’t drink much water, so my friends and I would even make bets that we should drink 2L a day, but I basically drank all the water I’d drink in my lifetime right there That’s how hard it was because my throat was so dry and stinging After surgery, my face ached, so my nerves got sensitive, and in my case, I also had a bit of a headache Honestly, I think saying facial contouring doesn’t hurt at all is a lie..^^ But that was only on the day of surgery and until around lunchtime the next day, and after taking my medicine properly and resting well, I started feeling okay from the evening of the second day I kept repeating the compression band for 1 hour, then 30 minutes, throughout the day, and for food, I ate small amounts of porridge... If I tried, I could break food into tiny pieces and eat it, but brushing my teeth was annoying, so I only ate about enough before taking medicine I think I lost about 2 kg during this period
My current condition is that I still have some yellow bruising and swelling, but it’s still much better than before, so my satisfaction is slowly going up The weather is just cool and nice, so every night I turn on RunDay and do cardio to help reduce swelling, or even if I can’t, I put on my Apple Watch and make sure to go for a walk All I can think is that I hope the swelling goes away quickly and my face gets slimmer..
