Day 8 after rhinoplasty!!! I really like the current shape and height...
I had the silicone inserted a little low on the nasal bridge, so I really like it right now, but once the swelling goes down, it’ll get lower, right..? Does it go down a lot..? My swelling was really severe, but the swelling around my eyes and face is all gone, and I only have bruising left! How much of the nose swelling will go down.. I also really like the nasal tip right now, but will it drop a lot...
Also, if you know any precautions, please share them!! What I’m doing now is sleeping with my head as elevated as possible when I sleep (almost sleeping sitting up), warm compresses because I still have bruising, and of course I’m taking walks,
They said I can stop applying ointment now, so if mucus pools up, I wipe the inside of my nose with a cotton swab, and I bought a bottle of saline? and put saline on a cotton swab to wipe once a day! They didn’t prescribe oral medication, so I’m not taking any now, and I sleep with the splint on
Am I doing this right now?
