I lived for 31 years with natural inline double eyelids, so honestly I had no interest in eye surgery at all, but over the past 1-2 years, my eyes would get tired at night and I felt like I was using my forehead a lot to open my eyes, so I went to consultations at several places.
I live outside Seoul, so going back and forth to Seoul was hard, but I still wanted to do it somewhere that could do it well in one go I really hope revision surgery will never be part of my life
After searching online and visiting clinics, I went to consultations at about 4 places in total. At that time, Director Choi Jung-hoon of Hani Plastic Surgery was at another clinic, so I made a consultation reservation because I really wanted to have it done by this doctor but suddenly I was contacted that he had left. For several months, even after searching apps and cafes, I couldn’t figure out where he went or whether he had opened his own clinic
In the end, I had consultations at the other 3 places, but there wasn’t any place I really liked, and since I was going to have surgery once, I also wanted to do posterior and lower canthoplasty, which I had been thinking about But some clinics strongly advised against it, and some places had prices that weren’t reasonable, so I couldn’t easily make up my mind.
Then around July, I searched for the director on an app and suddenly, clinic information that hadn’t appeared before showed up! After hearing the news that Hani Plastic Surgery had opened, I immediately took vacation and went to Seoul for a consultation! I went to consult only at this one place!
First of all, I had felt uncomfortable with the marketplace-like atmosphere at other plastic surgery clinics (like a factory), but here, from the interior to the staff at the desk, everything had a quiet and comfortable atmosphere, which I liked. The consultation also wasn’t rushed. It was more systematic than I expected, with photos taken and printouts shown, and they consulted in detail about the line. They asked first what I wanted, so it was actually more comfortable. The consultant also made me feel very comfortable and didn’t recommend this and that, only carrying out the consultation for exactly the parts I wanted!
I consulted about the eye shape correction + posterior and lower canthoplasty I wanted and immediately paid the reservation deposit! They say many revision surgery patients also come to this clinic, so I’m going to trust them and do it! I hope everyone gets good results~
