They say it hurts every time the braces are tightened, but now it doesn't really hurt anymore. Around that time, I got mini-implants. But pain varies by person, so I thought I probably wouldn't hurt, but I could really feel them drilling with a screwdriver, so it hurt, and the pressure while they were drilling was so intense. It felt like a rock was pressing down on my head and gums. When they asked if it hurt, I really said it didn't hurt, but then it hurt so much I got choked up and said, "It hurts." It hasn't been long since I got them, but I feel like my mouth has gone in a lot more than expected, so I'm more satisfied than I thought. For a week after getting the implants, I only ate porridge. It really hurt when chewing, and when I chewed anything hard, it hurt so much I wanted to pull out all my teeth. I took Tylenol every day. I was nervous the implants might come out, and after I ate curry, the rubber bands turned yellow
