Before <before surgery> After <after surgery> I had surgery with Director Jang Wook at Objet Plastic Surgery Clinic.
Even with makeup on, whenever I went out into natural light or when lighting was directly overhead, my under-eyes always looked dark and shadowed, so I decided to get under-eye fat repositioning surgery. I tend not to have much fat under my eyes, so I also had fat grafting to the anterior cheek area.
On the day of surgery, I paid the fee, watched a video about precautions, signed the consent form, talked with the director, and then went straight into surgery. In the middle, I felt pressure on my eyes, but it felt like it ended quickly. I think it took a little over 1 hour. The day after surgery, blood suddenly gushed from my left eye, and after that there was only a little blood-tinged eye discharge. I bruise easily, and when the tape was removed, there was a fairly wide yellow bruise, and the black bruise was about the size of a pinky fingernail. The bruising at the area where fat was taken from my thigh for the graft was quite large. I think the swelling was worst on day 3. As I entered week 2, the swelling and bruising went down quickly.
Now my right aegyo-sal area is a bit uneven. I manage somehow with makeup when going out. When I asked the consultant, she said it was swelling, so for now, after consulting with the director, I’m planning to get the second round of fat grafting too. Except for the aegyo-sal area, I’m satisfied with the surgery. I’m living comfortably without concealer.
