But I couldn't really tell if it had much effect. I wondered if other people were like this too, so I searched online, and there were more people than I expected saying the results were good. I couldn't tell whether that was really true or not. I had the same surgery, but I didn't feel much effect.. So as I kept looking into it, I saw reviews from people who didn't feel much effect after functional rhinoplasty and then had revision surgery at a clinic and got it properly resolved, so I went for a consultation thinking maybe this time would be different.
Since it was my second surgery, I was nervous. What if they said it would be difficult? What was the problem that made me not see results? I waited and went into the consultation while thinking all sorts of things, and the director looked at the CT scan and checked the problems and how surgery could improve them. Because he spoke confidently, I trusted him. And for this surgery, I also wanted to consider the cosmetic side, so I asked him to look at that together, and he designed it to be natural but with a definite change, so I thought it would be okay to decide on this place. Also, when I was waiting, I saw male patients too, so I thought it was a place many people visit regardless of gender.
Even though the surgery was done naturally, I hear a lot that my image changed a lot after nose surgery lol. The nasal bridge was done without an implant, the nasal tip used autologous costal cartilage, and I also had osteotomy. What I'm most satisfied with is that breathing is comfortable and my runny nose is less frequent. I think that was definitely different from my first surgery. I should have had surgery here from the beginning. If only I had known it was surgery with such good effects.. I'm glad I found out even now, though. I had deviated septum, rhinitis, and nasal valve all done.
