1) ㅁㅊㅍ - Clinic: Private clinic, one director - Diagnosis: Recommended both incisional and non-incisional methods (prices differ, and since it was my first double-eyelid surgery, they said to choose the surgery method I wanted) + ptosis correction - Consultation: Overall, I thought the consultation ended neatly and simply without overtreatment. The director tends to explain various surgical methods and gives you the choice to go with the method you want among them. They explain the method that can make my eyes look as natural as possible, and when I said the eye style I wanted, rather than answering in a possible/impossible way, they said it was more important to tailor it to my eyes. The consultant emphasized that many people come to this clinic for revision surgery. Overall it wasn’t bad, but when I went, I also saw many foreign patients. - Aftercare: Swelling injection, 2-year after-service - Time required: 10-minute wait + 25-minute consultation (keep in mind this is approximate)
2) ㅇㄹ - Clinic: Private clinic, one director - Diagnosis: Recommended incisional method + ptosis correction - Consultation: This time, I showed photos of the eyes I wanted. They explained while comparing my eyes with the celebrities’ eyes in the photos. They said the inner corners of the eyes were all opened and the lines were high, so overall it was a refreshing eye shape. They said that to change my eyes into that, it would be advantageous to set the line while removing fat through an incisional method. They honestly pointed out and explained that my eyes had a high possibility of loosening with a non-incisional method. For ptosis correction, they said that immediately it might look okay with only double eyelids, but later, if I kept opening my eyes using eyebrow strength, wrinkles could form on the forehead and the area above the bone could become sunken, so they recommended doing it together. I liked that they didn’t just explain the eye shape visible right after eye surgery, but also how it could change several years later, and it helped a lot in deciding on surgery. Overall, I felt they tend to create natural lines. They said the director personally removes all the stitches after surgery too. The consultant did not push excessive booking. 3) ㄴㅅㅎ - Clinic: Mid-sized clinic - Diagnosis: Recommended incisional method + ptosis correction + fat removal - Consultation: The consultant first asked about the eye style I wanted, then I consulted with the director. The director eased the mood without making it feel burdensome during the consultation. Because my skin is thick and there is a lot of eyelid fat, they recommended incision rather than buried sutures. While setting the line, they calmly explained, saying if the line is set this thin, there is a high chance it will loosen quickly. They set the line naturally and also slightly more glamorous. But they said natural in-out was the best for my eyes. And after trying the line several times, they said it seemed fat removal should be done together too. I had heard similar diagnoses at every clinic I visited, but fat removal was the first time, so it felt slightly burdensome. Still, the director said that in their view it would help the line stay fixed well, so I heard the total cost and left. I felt there was no pressure and they were kind. - Aftercare: 3 swelling laser sessions, 3-year after-service (they said it is often done when the eyes are uneven) - Time required: 5-minute wait + 30-minute consultation (keep in mind this is approximate)
There is one clinic among the three that I like, but I plan to think about it a bit more, look up reviews in this community, and decide.
