It has been about 3-4 months since my alar reduction, and it has become much more natural than before. The redness under the alae and things like that have all disappeared:)
Maybe because my columella is a bit crooked, it is disappointing that there is now an area where the nostril sizes look a bit different... It may just be because I am paying attention to it; when I take selfies or look with the naked eye, there is almost no nostril difference. But when I put tension around my mouth..? when I talk or when someone takes a photo of me, there is a slight side effect where my right nostril looks too big
The part where I felt the lower right area had opened slightly after surgery is still a little there, maybe because the swelling has not fully gone down yet, but it is less than before!! (Not enough to bother me; makeup does settle there a little) I am the type whose swelling does not go down easily, and they said I should wait at least 6 months, so I think I need to watch it more!!
The part where the nostril difference looks large is gradually improving, so I think I need to wait until more swelling goes down, take more photos, or watch the progress. Please keep in mind that my original nose shape was different on both sides, and it may be an issue with columellar deviation!
Aside from those parts, compared with my previous nose shape, my alae are definitely smaller and my nose is smaller, so I think the rounded impression has also decreased!! I had gotten used to it and did not notice, but while writing the review and looking at my before photos, it definitely changed... I am very satisfied with the surgery!! I could return to daily life right away, and it became naturally prettier without looking like I had surgery, so I recommend it to those who pursue a natural look!
