I do have double eyelids, but I wanted a line that looked clearer and more defined, so I had a consultation for double eyelid surgery. My eyelids are thin, so natural adhesion was fully possible, and since the inner corners of my eyes felt slightly stuffy, they also suggested diagonal canthoplasty (medial epicanthoplasty and upper canthoplasty) together. They held the line and showed what kind of feeling it would give when the canthoplasty was done, and also showed cases where both surgeries were done. The eyes definitely looked more open, and since the eyeballs? pupils? looked more open, the overall impression looked much softer, so I started wanting to do it.
