The Standard of Contouring Plastic Surgery was having an opening event, but I’m not sure if it’s still going on. Anyway, I went for a consultation at the end of last month.
I have a severe retruded chin, so I booked the consultation thinking about genioplasty advancement, but then I realized I really wanted cheekbone surgery too. I’m in my mid-to-late 30s, and I still cover my cheekbones with my side hair. Every time I pull my face tightly with thread lifting, my cheekbones stand out even more lol
Anyway, the clinic is right near Sinsa Station, and it was very clean and nice. Everyone was kind too.
[What I liked] 1. The consultation manager quickly took a CT without unnecessary consultation talk 2. It felt like the director pointed out only the parts he recommended - From the clinic’s perspective, bundling all three contouring procedures would make more money, but he didn’t say I should do all three. He said having a short chin is considered attractive these days too, my cheekbones are what stand out, and surgery would be very effective. He pinpointed it clearly. 3. When I said I was worried about sagging, rather than just reassuring me, he realistically said that part can’t be helped. - He said he would do the surgery as well as possible, but that sagging happens because of these reasons, so it’s natural.
[What worried me] 1. The director seems to have a very good career background, but he is so handsome and looks like he’s in his 20s, so I wondered whether he could really understand my deep and endless sagging concerns as someone in my mid-to-late 30s?? That was a question. Considering it’s an event, I’d really have to take sagging into account. 2. Since it’s still a new clinic, the step-by-step guidance and manual-like system are not very polished. 3. This isn’t about the clinic, but I’ve never had any cosmetic surgery before, so I’m worried whether it’s okay to start with such a major surgery. 4. Also not about the clinic, but my midface is so freaking long, like Dory the fish, so I was anxious that if I shave down my cheekbones, I might become a cucumber-looking woman.
So I paid a deposit, and when I had the CT taken, they said I had a bit of sinusitis too lol But because of paranasal sinusitis, the ENT told me not to have surgery, so I canceled the surgery reservation!
