First of all, during my first surgery, they used only septal cartilage to correct my crooked nose, bulbous nose, and deviated septum, but as side effects I got asymmetrical nostrils and a slight indentation, so during the revision they replaced it with ear cartilage and the height also got lowered a little, you know? I know the surgery was done for improvement, but after replacing it with ear cartilage, the columella that had been pulled forward became a bit shorter, and from the right side profile I especially ended up looking like I have a sulky expression……. I like my nose line and everything else, but lately on Instagram I’ve been seeing surgeries like the “cat nose” surgery people post, and I wish I could improve just my side profile with only that sigh I don’t know if I should stop or if I’m being too greedy, I’m going crazy day by day I already went through mental breakdowns so many times while waiting after my revision…
I’ll upload my right side profile and left side. Is there no way to correct only the nasolabial angle without turning everything upside down like a major reconstruction? Of course I’m scared that opening it up for nothing could ruin it, but before surgery I used to take lots of side-profile photos, and now I don’t really take them anymore……
What’s driving me crazy is that my natural nose originally had a protruding columella, and the nasolabial angle was definitely not recessed, but after two surgeries maybe the volume has sunken…… When I asked the clinic, they did say that because the septal support was replaced with ear cartilage, it would become softer going forward, and that the columella length or nasolabial angle would probably become about like my natural nose, but I didn’t know that if it was replaced, my columella would suddenly get so short and concave hua After 6 months, if I ask about after-service correction, will they do it for me..
