I’ll write a review of my philtrum-to-nose surgery at a plastic surgery clinic to correct my bulbous nose + hump nose!
I had what people commonly call an extremely difficult nose, with both a bulbous nose and a hump... At first, I thought about just living with the way I looked, but I kept wanting more, so I eventually saved up money and decided to have surgery. I heard that rhinoplasty often ends up needing revision surgery, so I tried to research well from the beginning. I did online research for over two months and even went to consultations at five places! Among the hospitals I consulted with, there were a few I liked, but this clinic was my first choice, so once I decided, I called the hospital and scheduled a date.
The director recommended using autologous costal cartilage, and I also wanted alar base reduction. The director recommended it too, so I had hump removal, bulbous nose correction, and alar base reduction together! I hoped for a refined but natural nasal bridge, and I’m satisfied because it turned out well without being too flashy. I’m going to manage it well from now on too, so I won’t need revision surgery!
