After <This photo was taken one month after under-eye fat repositioning> Before <Honestly, 100%... my eyes before getting it done lol> As I got older, my dark circles kept getting worse and the area under my eyes became puffy, which really bothered me Even when I was working, people around me kept asking if I hadn’t slept the night before.. I practically avoided taking photos, and because my whole face looked dull overall, I think I worried about it a lot too.
I was stressed, so I looked into various options, and an acquaintance suggested trying an under-eye laser treatment first. I thought, okay, a procedure would probably be better than surgery, but in the end, I saw absolutely no effect and just wasted my money..... lol Since laser didn’t work, and there was no answer no matter how much I managed it with eye cream, I eventually thought surgery must be the only solution, so I started looking into clinics for under-eye fat repositioning!
Everyone here said it’s good to visit several places for consultations, so after work I dragged myself around to 5 consultations. For me, a private clinic was definitely much better than a large-scale clinic... At the larger places, they recommended not only the surgery I wanted but also all kinds of other things, so I think that made me feel like I was being over-recommended.
Among the places I consulted with, I had it done at a clinic that explained a surgical method customized for me and didn’t make excessive surgery recommendations. I felt it was a big advantage that the director personally handled everything from surgery to treatment, because after surgery I could ask the director directly about anything I was curious about!
The post-op photos are from after one month. How does it look compared with before? The difference is really huge when you see it in person rather than in photos…!! I also feel it’s a shame I didn’t get under-eye fat repositioning sooner, and I still regret that I should have just had the surgery earlier with the money I spent on laser.. lol
Oh, and under-eye fat repositioning doesn’t have that long of a recovery period! For about a week, when I looked upward, it felt a bit stiff and sore, but after around 2 weeks it got much better. Of course, it depends on the person, but I think I felt even more at ease because the director checked on me carefully even after surgery.
I’m writing this review because I thought it might help everyone who, like me, struggles with shadows and dark circles caused by fat under the eyes! Personally, the before-and-after difference is clear, so I want to recommend it!
