I had problems with my temporomandibular joints, along with jaw deviation and facial asymmetry. I had been a surgical case since I was young,, I did presurgical orthodontic treatment for about a year, then postsurgical orthodontic treatment for about a year, so my orthodontic treatment is finished now, and it’s almost been a year since surgery~ I had it done at a university hospital, and my recovery was on the faster side. Personally, I really think double-jaw surgery is not something you should do for purely aesthetic reasons, and first of all, I think it should be done at a university hospital with an oral and maxillofacial specialist, not a plastic surgery clinic, or at a private clinic specializing in double-jaw surgery. I’ve heard things while going around to other plastic surgery clinics.. haha;; It’s also better to avoid hospitals where the price is too cheap. Double-jaw surgery is not a surgery I would recommend lightly. But if you’ve made up your mind, study a lot and visit many places for consultations.
