I had double eyelid surgery in the provinces about 5 to 6 years ago. It was an older doctor, in his mid-to-late 50s, and because the price was cheap, I rushed into the surgery. I had monolids, and they did an incision, epicanthoplasty, and ptosis correction. In the end, I ended up with sausage eyes, so I’m looking for another clinic now haha. They didn’t consider my eyes at all and just went ahead with the incision. The epicanthoplasty left scars, which made my Mongolian folds even worse, and the ptosis correction wasn’t done properly either. This time I’m definitely going to do thorough research and get it done properly again.
