6-Month Review of 3-Part Facial Contouring (4 mm Chin Tip)

Before-before-before after-after-after hello! I had 3-part facial contouring at Y Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and now it’s been 6 months haha At my appointment, I checked all the photos and was also told that the bones had healed well. The first thing I think is that I’m really glad I had surgery at a safe hospital with a skilled surgeon. Before surgery, I had a complex about my lower face since high school. I had a protruding mouth and a long, wide chin, so I couldn’t even think about wearing turtlenecks, and whether it was a selfie or a photo someone else took, I always edited it before uploading. Later on, I even stopped taking photos. After that, as an adult, I got orthodontic treatment for protruding mouth, and the protrusion improved a lot, but as I lost facial fat, my cheekbones and jaw looked even more prominent. I realized it wasn’t fat but bone, so I had square jaw, anterior jaw, and cheekbone surgery. Now, at 6 months, the swelling is completely gone, and I live for the joy of looking in the mirror every day. Every time I see my slim jawline, it feels so amazing, and I keep checking whether this is really my chin. I’m eating all kinds of food too. It’s better to avoid hard foods as much as possible, but I can’t avoid them for life, so I eat them sometimes and have no discomfort at all. I can open my mouth freely. I go to the dentist often because of my retainer, and even when I keep my mouth open for a long time, it doesn’t feel burdensome. Also, the swelling that would suddenly appear when my condition was poor early after surgery has disappeared. I feel like I’ve healed well. When I met my friends, they asked if I had lost weight and said I somehow looked subtly younger and prettier. When I told them I had facial contouring, they made a huge fuss saying it turned out so well. For the sideburn scars, I applied Dermatix consistently for two months at the beginning and then stopped, but they almost disappeared. They’ve faded to the point where you can only see them if you get really close and lift the hair. For swelling care, I was drinking red bean tea, and from month 5 I started taking Newvein, but other than my legs getting slimmer, I’m not sure. By month 5 my facial swelling was already all gone, so there wasn’t a dramatic effect. If you’re going to take it, I think it’s better to take it early on. Right now, I feel like I’ve completely returned to my pre-surgery daily life, and I still have no discomfort. I’m living so smoothly that I almost wonder when I even had surgery. If you’re considering surgery, I recommend doing it even one day sooner.!!
