About 8 months ago, I had functional nasal surgery + cosmetic rhinoplasty at an ENT clinic, but I’m not happy with the cosmetic result,, so I’m looking into revision surgery now.
Since I don’t have any problems breathing, I keep thinking maybe I should just live with it and be satisfied, but lately I really hate my nose, so I’ve been wearing a mask around It’s not like I’ve had any specific side effects; it just became like a very widened bulbous nose compared to my old nose. Round and blunt.
So I went to consultations at a few places and found one place that seems to match what I want, so I’m considering doing it there. But when I read posts about revision rhinoplasty in this community, some people say things like, you shouldn’t have gotten nose surgery from the start, don’t take revision surgery lightly (of course I’m not taking it lightly), etc.. When I see things like that, I seriously regret it so much and think I should’ve just gone to a plastic surgery clinic from the beginning. And when I read warning posts, I start thinking, how would I know what’ll happen a few years after revision surgery? So seriously, I wonder if I should just live like this, but then when I look in the mirror I’m like, why does my face look like this lol
Sigh~^^ I really feel like I’m going to lose it.. lol I’m starting to hate myself
