Hello haha. Looking around, there are already lots of reviews from people who had it done, but there don’t seem to be many consultation reviews, so I thought I’d write one!
(As of now, I’m 3 weeks post breast augmentation~)
I’m writing this in a pretty detailed way so I can show it to my friends or acquaintances later.. I hope it helps those of you reading it too ^^
(I was kind of writing as I remembered things in the moment, so I mixed in a few casual ~ing, ~was, ~is kind of expressions too. Please understand!)
#1. Why I decided to get breast augmentation
I’m 30,, and I’m extremely skinny and my chest is basically glued-on level (80A), but honestly, I’d never lived thinking about breast augmentation I’ve never had any cosmetic procedure done at all.. I thought it was something from a completely different world
But a few months ago, a really close friend of mine got breast augmentation, and as I heard all about everything from the consultation to the surgery process, my ears started to perk up a little..
At around 3 months post-op now, her body shape is wow.. she went from an AA cup to a C cup, and even as a woman, I kept looking at her chest and body shape the whole time, like I couldn’t stop
And when I saw the shape of her breasts, I was like, huh? They’re so natural?? I thought surgery would definitely look unnaturally like an upside-down rice bowl.. but honestly, it looked like a chest shape you’d never know was surgically done unless someone told you;;
So I was thinking, wow.. breast augmentation these days is amazing.. Then recently I started yoga
My friend gave me some yoga clothes she used to wear because they didn’t fit her anymore, and the moment I came home and tried them on, I had a visual shock...
It was just elementary school kid body itself The pads were thin too, so my completely nonexistent chest was exposed vividly, like a child wearing a swimsuit..
And even when I went to yoga, all the women there.. maybe not huge, but everyone had at least some basic assets Enough that a line would show whenever they did a pose.. I don’t even have a line
After seeing my friend naturally improve her body shape through breast augmentation, and then getting shocked again through yoga.. I thought maybe I should at least get a consultation..? So I booked one at the place my friend went to
#2. How I chose the hospital for the breast augmentation consultation
Honestly.. I didn’t get consultations from a lot of places. Because the friend who had breast augmentation is an extremely meticulous ESTJ, so she researched absolutely everything related to breast augmentation, from reviews to group chats to YouTube and more
She carefully chose and narrowed it down, got consultations at 3 places, and among them, she decided to have surgery at D.T. and booked a consultation there right away I was too lazy to research a ton myself... and I trusted my friend’s meticulousness and the naturally pretty result(!).. so I comfortably picked the hospital!
And since it was just a consultation.. if I actually went and it felt bad or like, ah.. do I really need to spend this much money on it..? if I felt even a little that way, I was just going to pass
I also heard they could show me what my breasts would look like after surgery with a simulation or something, so I wanted to go at least once just out of curiosity
Anyway, after all that, I chose the hospital for the consultation!!
#3. Consultation process
1st - Consultation with the coordinator
Since I had an appointment, there was no waiting, and I filled out my personal information on a tablet and then had the first consultation with the coordinator
I mostly just knew the names of implants like Mentor, Motiva, Sebbin, etc., and had only heard from my friend that Mentor something was good~~
But while the coordinator answered everything I was curious about (implant feel, whether the shape would look natural, whether dual plane or subfascial would be better, etc.), I started to trust it a bit
There were several kinds of implants laid out in front of me, so I could touch them directly too!! (They said modern implants absolutely do not rupture, haha. Even baby breastfeeding is fine without any problem.)
And what was so surprising was.. the coordinator also had breast augmentation at the hospital where she works The coordinator also did yoga??? (She was so dedicated that she even went through a yoga instructor course!)
She kindly shared her own experience, how she thought about breast augmentation from high school for over 5 years before finally doing it, why she chose this hospital, and more.. (She said the doctor is a person who knows only breasts(?) and is really serious about breasts)
Hearing all that was so fascinating and.... it even felt kind of fated, and I was really tempted? But still, I was thinking I didn’t know yet.. so I stayed a bit uncertain
And then came the long-awaited consultation with Dr. Lee Jun-wook.....
2nd - Consultation with the doctor
The doctor’s consultation room was held in a fairly spacious room, with one entire wall completely filled by a screen~~~ And there were various sizes and types of implants laid out there
Then I opened up my chest to the doctor...... At first I was a bit embarrassed, but I thought, well, he’s probably seen thousands of chests besides mine.. and showed it He really measured my chest circumference, underbust, waist, and hip circumference with the eyes of a true craftsman
I wondered why he was measuring everything except my chest...? but as he explained, he looks at the overall balance of chest, waist, and hips, and aims for a harmonious size
Of course, there are people who want it as big as possible!!!!! and for those people he said he tries to persuade them too, but if they still want it, he would tailor the surgery to that need
But I also wanted, like my friend, a natural!!!!! breast that feels like my own, and since the doctor is the expert, he’d know best~ so I said, ‘Please recommend a naturally pretty size.’
The size the doctor recommended was a ‘full B cup.’
But honestly, when I heard that, I thought, ‘If I’m already going through surgery, wouldn’t a full B be too small..?’ Since even now, based on the size measured at Venus, I was a 75B..
The implant he recommended was ‘Sebbin Integrity.’
Then he let me touch the implant, and huh, it felt a bit firm..? I asked, wouldn’t something soft and squishy look less noticeable?
He said you have to use an implant that matches your tissue characteristics to look natural and not show through easily, and because my tissue felt firm, he recommended Sebbin. And he explained it like this:
If the outer tissue is somehow elastic and firm, but the inside is extremely soft~ then that itself is what would look unnatural As soon as he said that, I understood right away..
And for the incision, since I’ll be doing yoga later and wearing sleeveless tops, I chose the inframammary fold incision I figured it’s not something anyone would see anyway!
As for the implant placement, there were subfascial and dual plane, and while subfascial supposedly has faster recovery and so on, I’m too skinny, so if I did subfascial it would show too much, and there would be a higher chance of side effects like capsular contracture, they said
So dual plane was recommended
Honestly, I was thinking, ‘If I’m going all the way to surgery, wouldn’t a full B be kind of a waste..?’ But the doctor told me to look at the real feeling of how it would look at the size he was recommending
He told the coordinator to prepare a 275cc implant for the left and a 310cc implant for the right, along with special underwear? to fill them out (They said breasts are a little uneven from person to person, so the sizes are different to balance them.)
So when I put on that underwear and looked in the full-length mirror, wow..............
Honestly, that was where my decision to have surgery shot way up
When I saw myself in that size in the mirror, my body shape looked so pretty I’m really, really skinny and tall, and with that size on my frame, it looked really voluptuous and natural
Still in that dazed state, he also showed me an actual simulation on that giant screen covering the whole wall
You can see a simulation of what your actual breasts would look like when they reach the size the doctor recommended from your current size!!
Seeing that gave me the urge again..
He showed me before/after photos of other people who had surgery from a similar starting size to mine, and they looked so naturally pretty
The inframammary scar also starts with a minimal incision (he said 2.5 cm), and they also manage it thoroughly afterward with scar laser treatment, so I felt really reassured
When I saw the actual before/after photos, the inframammary scar was barely visible
And what’s good about D.T. is that they do a ‘hybrid,’ meaning they combine fat grafting with implants
For skinny people like me, if you only put in implants, the breasts can spread a little and the middle part can look empty like a highway running through it, and the distance between the breasts can get wide, so it can look a bit obvious,
so they fill the gap and the upper breast hollow area with my own fat!! and make it look natural
When I looked at the actual fat grafting before/after too, the difference was huge and it looked much more natural
But since I’m skinny, I asked where they would even get the fat from..? and they said from the thighs I asked, what if they take so much thigh fat that my legs end up looking unshapely..? and they said it wouldn’t be taken that intensely, but rather would come off like refining the excess flesh (But if a lot is taken, for people with a bit more flesh, it would probably be even better.. breasts get bigger and thighs or upper arms get slimmer too)
After hearing everything about size, implants, incision location, whether to do fat grafting, and so on.. and seeing my post-surgery appearance through the simulation, I was really set on surgery.. I liked it so much.. Dr. Lee Jun-wook is seriously top-tier in trust...!!!!
After that, I also had a pricing consultation with the coordinator, but I was already mentally set on surgery, so I just left after paying the deposit
At first, during the first consultation with the coordinator, I thought that even if I wanted surgery after consulting here, I should at least go to two more hospitals.. but I just felt like this place was the best.. and my crazy meticulous friend had already had surgery here too

Anyway, I rambled on and shared my breast augmentation consultation review in a pretty scattered way..
Next time, I’ll come back with the surgery day and 1-week post-op review~~
