I had posterior canthoplasty last summer, a year ago. The doctor was kind, and the surgery went well without scarring, so I’m satisfied. For a few months, maybe because I was wearing a mask, the swelling under my eyes didn’t go down easily and stayed around my cheekbones, which made my cheekbones look more uneven, so it bothered me. But it gradually went down. Now that a year has passed, I’m living well without side effects, to the point that I barely remember I had posterior canthoplasty, and I think I made the right choice. When someone sees me after a long time, the reaction is more like “Your face looks much better” or “You’ve gotten prettier,” rather than “What did you get done?”
