Among the places I went to for consultations, they recommended the most options. It wasn’t that they pushed me to add things I didn’t want to do, but it seemed like they recommended things that would look prettier and give a more definite result if done together. However, they recommended ptosis correction, which all the other hospitals had advised against… I do open my eyes using eyebrow strength, but my eyelid line is the type where doing ptosis correction could make me have scleral show. I’ve also been told elsewhere that my eye-opening strength is very good. Even so, they spoke as if ptosis correction was absolutely necessary, so I didn’t ultimately choose them… I think maybe they have a very firm design preference, and within that, they recommend additional options? That’s how it felt. If you want to have the minimum surgery even if it’s a little less pretty, go somewhere else; if you want to hear what more might be good to do, I recommend visiting casually.
