Skin Treatment Reviews

Yeong Clinic Review

At the first consultation, I waited a long time past my appointment time. The director consulted me personally and even said about himself that he was very good at it. He said scar laser, 2 sessions plus interim treatment, would cost 1.2 million won, and although I also discussed other procedures, I decided to do only the laser because the price was high. After sending the deposit, I set the procedure date, came that day, paid the balance, and after the first session I did see some effect, but as I kept getting treatments there was no major effect. It did not seem to be as effective as the director had boasted. They do not explain how things will proceed or roughly what treatment I will receive next time. Reservations are only possible weekday mornings, and they do not tell you this in advance. If I complain about something unfair, the consultation manager and staff just forcefully insist they did nothing wrong and cannot explain the reason. I even went to the Legal Aid Corporation to ask about this. As time passed, the progress was just so-so, and there were some restrictions, like not getting other procedures or plastic surgery and going to bed early at night. I was treated for several months, but even when I went at the scheduled time I was always made to wait, and the director seemed to become more and more high-handed; whenever I asked something, he spoke as if scolding me.. I did not want to fight, so I responded politely, but inside I kept thinking, Why am I being scolded after paying my own money? I said I was concerned because I had had this kind of experience at another hospital in the past, but it was the doctor who interpreted that as something more than I meant. But when I listened to the sounds of other patients being treated (the clinic is small, and the treatment room is small and separated only by curtains with no door, so you can hear everything), they did not dare act carelessly with patients who were more forceful. haha Toward the end, maybe they got confused about the area I wanted treated, because they did it while leaving that part out. After waiting a long time to go there, they make a wound with a needle and infiltrate something like an ampoule, and when I think about how I had to wait that long and give up my whole day, it feels inefficient. During treatment, they tell you to buy an ampoule and use it once a month, and I also bought an ointment, but the staff sometimes forgot about these products, so I checked and bought them myself. But I am not sure how effective the ampoule really was. The improvement from what the director explained seems a bit minor. I thought about additional treatment, but decided not to get it. It makes me feel like if I were to get it, I should do it at another clinic. Kindness is not necessary, but I do not want to be treated in a way that does not make sense again.
