I had double eyelid surgery about 15 years ago. Both eyes ended up with a somewhat sausage-like look and mucosal eversion, and the epicanthoplasty was done too aggressively so the lacrimal caruncle is fully visible, plus the inner corners of my eyes became too sharp, which made my expression look harsh. A friend of mine who had the same surgery here has eyes very similar to mine... It’s manageable with makeup, and I’m too lazy to get revision surgery, so I’m living with it as is.
