I went in for a consultation thinking non-incisional double-eyelid surgery was the final destination, despite the risks of lagophthalmos and scar tissue, but they didn’t really examine my eyes from different angles and spoke so confidently as if it were very easy, so if anything, I felt less trust? I asked, “This is the same non-incisional double-eyelid surgery as at other hospitals, right?” and they said yes, but they also said that in the past they simply excised and tied it right above the eyelid, whereas now they combine know-how and techniques and have resolved many of the issues with the eyes not closing..!
